NOTE (13NOV2023): To Chairman Xi
China sinks into deflation (not necessarily an adverse occurrence — see the semi-fictional novel, Inescapable Consequences). High-ranking Chinese executives, military officers, and politicians are disappearing or held in detention in a pattern reminiscent of the “show-trials” held by Stalin during the 1930’s. Anxiety from these governmental actions grips the upper echelons of China and foreigners.
As written hereinbelow, this commentator warned you, Chairman Xi. Mussolini not Mao. Fascism not Communism. Democratic republicanism would be best but highly unlikely. You have chosen Mao and Communism. Now, you face the inescapable, adverse consequences.
The only reason that you sit in the dictator’s chair is the consequence of a feckless President Harry Truman’s decision in 1948 to withhold full-scale support for Chiang Kai-shek (1887-1975). Behavior has its consequences. You are not feckless only misguided.
So, where is Zhao Bingxian? Fan Bao? Chen Shaojie? Hiu Ka Yan? Where are a host of others? What affrights you so?

NOTE (derived from 03NOV1938): The day of this commentator’s birth. The week of Kristallnacht in Nazi-Germany. The month of British Prime Minister Chamberlain’s commitment before Parliament to appeasement in Europe. The year of the “Depression within the Depression” in these United States.
“Japan Admits Aim to Dominate China And Warns Others.” –The New York Times (03NOV1938)
Yesteryear, Imperial Japan. This year, Communist-China. Then, a soon-to-fail General Tojo. Now, a flailing Chairman Xi. The play remains the same. The actors change.

-End of Note-
Mr. Xi, on 27DEC2021 this commentator posted a note to you. The note garnered some attention from your countrymen with dozens of visits to the site from China. Sadly for you, I doubt that you saw it. Perhaps, your subordinates feared showing it to you despite your avuncular countenance. After all, you can be a fearsome fellow. Intelligent and capable but fearsome.
Democratic republicanism for China aside as an unlikely possibility, the posting suggested that you were facing two, primary options; namely, Marx or Mussolini. You had been choosing Marx and Communism. Understandable given your background. The posting suggested that you switch to Mussolini and Fascism. You didn’t. Now, look at the trouble you face.
“When sorrows come, they come not single spies but in battalions.” -Hamlet by William Shakespeare (1564-1616)
The posting alerted you that you were plodding the Path to Perdition and that your travel would end badly. Today, that prediction seems to have been apt.
In 2018 before China unleashed the plague, I published a semi-fictional novel entitled Retribution Fever. In it, I made the following, three predictions: 1) global plague — then came CoViD-2; 2) economic distress in China — now come delinquencies, defaults, and bankruptcies; and 3) international terrorism — then came the sabotage to Nord Stream now comes Hamas’s barbaric attack against Israeli civilians. The last threatens to accelerate the drift of the world into a nuclear conflagration from which no aerobic, terrestrial life will survive including mine and yours. Will you actually promote a nuclear-armed Iran? Consider the inescapable consequences.
“The unleashed power of the atom has changed everything save our modes of thinking, and we thus drift toward unparalleled catastrophe.” -Albert Einstein (1879-1955).
An article in a recent edition of The Epoch Times, a newspaper with which I feel confident that you are familiar, reported that you recently visited with President al-Assad of Syria the Buddhist temple in Hangzhou. The temple, too, offers postings, ancient postings, with which I also feel confident that you are familiar and which my current postings distantly echo. As the latter have predicted, apparently you now fear for your life. Your fate, an ignominious ending? Perhaps, you can free yourself from such a fatal fate that you seem Hell-bent to fulfill. Perhaps not.
Have times passed by you? Have you already crossed the River Styx and find yourself in the netherworld? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Recall, Mussolini not Marx.
You might ask, Why would a patriotic American have the hubris to offer advice to a formidable, foreign dictator intent upon displacing the United States as the primary world-power? What’s to be gained?
Answer? Because this commentator is a patriotic American; and his fragmented, declining nation is a nation on fire. Given current trends, because China will triumph with a reformed Xi or without any Xi. Should you reroute yourself onto the Road to Chinese Resurrection or should your successor be wiser than you, perhaps enough Americans will awaken to our deteriorating situation and will stop denying reality. Any society that denies reality, as you yourself have been doing on an individual level, is doomed to a dismal destiny. China, however, has the advantage of being a despotism and can move quickly to right itself at the cost of individual liberty. The United States does not possess that advantage. Moreover, we have deteriorated into a matriarchal, republican democracy. Firstly, never in the history of mankind has there been a successful, matriarchal society of any importance. Secondly, even our Founding Fathers regarded democracy as an obscenity. The Framers of our constitution created a democratic republic not a republican democracy.
“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.” -President John Adams (1735-1826)
Some years ago, reportedly the Chinese government issued a “white paper” characterizing the United States as a nation in terminal decline. Sadly, that assertion, now echoed by ex-President Trump, seems correct. As a nation, we have become corrupt. We have lost our collective soul.
“Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt.” -Samuel Adams (1722-1803)
Hopefully, the consequence of a rising China will be a rising United States meeting the challenge with a rerouting onto the Road to American Resurrection — resurrection of traditional, American values in a truly capitalistic, democratic republic as described in detail in Retribution Fever. Pray that such be the case. Woe to the West be it a false hope. Hope! As slippery as quicksilver.
“Hope springs eternal in the human breast; Man never is, but always To be Blest.” -Alexander Pope (1688-1744)
