“The light of life is insufficiently bright to overcome the darkness of reality.” -Erich Maria Remarque (1898-1970)

Biological warfare. Via biological warfare, what if China had hatched a dark plot to cripple these United States of America and damage the rest of the West while diminishing its own most vexing domestic problem? How? By unleashing a variant of a global, viral plague that would strike hardest at the elderly and chronically infirm inflicting a relatively high mortality and morbidity while sparing the young and healthy with only a mild to modest blow of negligible mortality and low morbidity. Such is the description of (2019)-nCoV (now renamed SARS-CoV-2), the “Chinese coronavirus”.

“Not possible!” you say. “That the plague now global began in Wuhan, the home of the Chinese biological warfare facilities? Mere geographical coïncidence. That, as reported by a Chinese journal, these facilities used the same species of bat hosting the virus — a bat not found within hundreds of miles of Wuhan? Again, mere coïncidence; the “wet markets” also carry the bats as a matter of course, don’t they? That the Chinese government concealed the incipient epidemic during the critical first few weeks? Merely bureaucratic self-protection through deceit. That the physician who on social media issued an early warning was persecuted by the authorities then conveniently died of the disease? Merely a misunderstanding. That the Chinese have denied all outside inquiry and assistance? Merely bureaucratic underestimation and political pride.”

China now is returning to work, proclaiming the wisdom and near-omnipotence of its Communist (increasingly Fascist) Party; whereas, these United States and the rest of the West is crushing its own vital commerce in a vain effort by power-hungry, panic-stricken politicians to pander to its voting old in the name of “humanitarianism” at the expense of its young while engaging in the greatest power-grab in peacetime history. Even our military is beginning to quarantine itself and assign its medical personnel to civilian duty; thereby, reducing our military preparedness. Is the Chinese military? Could not the Chinese have foreseen our “humanitarian” response and used it as a weapon against us?

“No way!” you say.

“One death is a tragedy; a million deaths, a statistic.” -Josef Stalin (1878-1953)

Consider the bonus for the Chinese. By killing off some of its own burgeoning elderly, China decreases their increasing demand upon the young to meet their unending needs. It, thereby, resumes the natural order whereby the old become subordinate to the young. China is a patriarchal society operating, implicitly if not explicitly, under the guidelines of Confucian dogma accepting of authority and self-sacrifice and largely grounding its policies in reality.

Conversely, these United States have become an increasingly matriarchal society, operating under personal opinion based upon arrogant ignorance combined with floating on abstract ideology divorced from reality. Under the banner of “humanitarianism” and “social justice”, the nation has fragmented, declined, and set itself afire. Self-righteously, it destroys the whole in order to save small and often unworthy parts.

As do the Japanese, the Chinese pride themselves in racial superiority, rejecting diversity and multi-culturalism while maintaining biological homogeneity. They boast a 5,000-year history on which to resurrect the power and prestige of China, largely abandoned after the 14th-century. Never has any nation risen as fast and as far as has China during the last forty years. Indeed, despite serious and substantial problems, they, nevertheless, are ascending. Could variants of Mussolini’s Fascism be the future?

“An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.” -Arnold Toynbee (1889-1975)

Conversely, at one time having embraced individualism and patriarchy, Americans now are embracing collectivism and matriarchy despite the fact that never has there been a successful matriarchal society of importance. We now give the unceasing and increasing demands of the old, the chronically ill, and the weak higher priority than the needs of the young, the healthy, and the strong — especially the needs of young, healthy, and strong males, who themselves are becoming increasingly alienated, isolated, and despondent. As a nation, we Americans have become self-loathing and self-destructive. The Chinese coronavirus hastens that ugly process. We Americans are descending into a Hell of our own making, having allowed the promoters of debt, defeat, and depravity to lead us down the Path to Perdition. Behavior has its consequences.

Perhaps, the current plague, caused intentionally … doubtful … or unintentionally … more likely, will awaken Americans, especially young Americans, to the rot corrupting the four secular cornerstones of our society — government, law, education, and medical delivery. Perhaps, they will understand the extent of the swindle to which the politicians and bureaucrats are victimizing them. Perhaps, they will seek the scientifically-paved Road to Resurrection as described in the recent novel (2018), Retribution Fever. Resurrection, where lies individual liberty with individual responsibility in a context of traditional American ideals and values characterized by moderation, prudence, and charity.
